Capers are the unripened, green flower buds of the caper bush, native to the Mediterranean and mostly cultivated in Italy.
Capers are primarily associated with Mediterranean cuisines, and lend a salty flavour to a variety of savoury dishes (such as salads, sauces, vegetables, …). They are well-known as a star ingredient in many Italian recipes.
LITALY Capers are pickled in wine vinegar and are available in two sizes (180g or 800g).
